“Around the Hole is nostalgia for a scar from the past, an organized trip to a harmful fraction of my history. An experience that, despite its negativity, I decide to visit frequently with a certain longing. The songs channel the sensations that those memories convey to me, from naive tenderness to darker agony. Nine pieces are describing an orbit about the jaws of hell itself, an emotional rush that dances on a tightrope that eventually gave in and break. Around the Hole is a journey through an experience that was a very expensive bill to assume, and that despite everything, I still cannot look up from the rearview mirror and let it get lost in oblivion.”
